Job Description:

Americorp Mortgage Services, Inc., an established mortgage company based in Reston, Virginia with a reputation for competitive rates, top-notch service and quick turnaround has immediate openings for experienced or new-to-industry Mortgage Consultants. Americorp Mortgage Services has been providing residential mortgage services since 1997. Americorp is licensed in the states of Virginia, Maryland, West Virginia, Florida and the District of Columbia. In addition, Americorp Mortgage has the capacity to originate loans in twelve other states. Americorp Mortgage offers an extremely aggressive compensation plan, including commission scaling based on performance, annual bonuses, health and dental insurance, 401K and 529 savings accounts. Americorp Mortgage will provide you with all the tools needed to succeed in this dynamic industry, including but not limited to comprehensive training and marketing tools. Mortgage services/sales experience preferred but not required, although a sales posture, the ability to follow up, and attention to details are a must. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Establish client based relationships with traditional and non-traditional lead sources, including: real estate agents, builders, bankers, financial planners, attorneys, etc.;
  • Maintain a pipeline of clients, utilizing various prospecting techniques, including in-house web page;
  • Work with prospects using a consultative sales approach to identify the optimal loan program to fit their situation and needs;
  • Develop proposals for prospective clients detailing the terms, conditions, and interest rates of the loan product;
  • Manage the loan process from the initial application process through closing;
  • Interact with lender partners, vendors, and co-workers to ensure the successful completion of all required tasks;
  • Provide performance reports to supervisors on a weekly basis, including but not limited to closing, revenue, and source reporting;
  • Communicate the features and benefits of various mortgage product offerings.
